Being a teacher is more than just getting a degree and having a specific position in school. Vacant hours are still the best time for you to mingle with your student and get to know them well. Most of the people choose to work within 10 miles from home since they also enjoy getting a ride and watching over the different views that they can pass by.
However, it is your preference and choice, and when you do made your choice you can immediately conduct your search for a teaching job accordingly. The next thing that you should take into account is the hours. Most of the time, public schools are fairly strict when it comes to consistent hours of teaching. The time management that you are going to make in your class must always corresponds to the number of hours that the school requires you to have. If you enjoy adding instructions in school like athletics and other enrichment activities, then you will likely excel in a certain school which offers these various extracurricular activities. It is important for you to know on how you are going to budget your time constructively which will benefit the students more during your teaching. You can exceed to the number of prescribed hours and do more for your students to learn. The next and last to consider is the class size or the number of students that you are going to have. Some teachers would enjoy having a big-group inside the classroom and some would choice to have only few. Larger crowd is fun and enjoy however teaching is not up to having fun alone, the burden of the teacher is much greater if he or she handling a great number of students in the classroom. It is hard for the teacher to enforce discipline in the classroom if he alone cannot control the different attitudes of her students. Small or large size of classes still needs the teacher to be firm in any rules that he or she impose to the students.
