I need to know how to apply for the rail road company?
I wanted to drive the train some where on this planet didn’t really care where. I was hopeing it was a 50 thousand dollar year job. Please tell me how much it pays? A phone number is what i am looking for. I was also looking for an exact web page. I was also looking for both. How much does it get paid. What is a really high paying job for the rail road company that anybody can do. I do have the brains to do what ever I want. Still looking for an easy high paying job for the railroad company.
If you think running a train is an easy job you better rethink that.It’s not a hard job physically but it can have a high level of mental stress.So much so that not everyone can handle it.And you can’t just hire on to run a train.You have to get promoted out of the ranks of trainmen.So it can be 6 to 8 years before you get promoted to engineer(or even longer the way our economy is right now).The UPRR has 4,200 people furloughed right now so I don’t see them hiring for quite a while.I’m sure the other Class 1′s are in a similar state too.They all have websites where you can put in an application but your not going to find a phone number.As for pay the average pool freight engineer makes about 75,000 a year.You earn every penny though.So if it’s an easy job your looking for you better try something else.Good luck on finding one of those easy money jobs.If you find one let me know,maybe i’ll apply too!
